“Dreieck”, the premium folding file by ERBE, combines functionality with stylish design.
Its modern, geometric design not only looks sharp, but also provides a secure, slip-resistant grip. The triangle pattern on the handle is taken from the ERBE logo and also symbolises the bustling heart of Solingen, the “City of Blades”. Officially named Graf-Wilhelm-Platz in October 1937, the spot is still affectionately known as the “Dreieck” (Triangle) to locals. This is where the bus station is located and where Solingen’s iconic, electrically powered trolley buses pass through on their way around the city.
The file’s special folding mechanism locks into place when fully opened, ensuring safe, precise filing. When folded, it becomes a compact, ultra-lightweight tool that fits easily into any small bag.
Made from sturdy, elastic spring steel, the file resists bending and offers long-lasting performance. Its sapphire-coated surface, developed in Solingen, is particularly gentle on the nails and delivers flawless results.
Despite its compact size, “Dreieck” offers three functions: a coarse surface for shortening and shaping, a fine surface for smoothing the edges and a pointed tip for cleaning under the nails.

The application
The ERBE folding file is both practical and easy to use. Simply open the file to reveal the coarse and fine surfaces, then allow it to lock into position at 180°, preventing it from folding back during use. This ensures a safe and comfortable filing experience.
Start with the coarse side to shape your nails as desired, then switch to the fine side to smooth the edges. The pointed tip of the file serves as a convenient nail cleaner, helping to remove dirt and grime from beneath the nails.
For best results, always hold the file straight and only file in one direction – towards the centre of the nail. For a well-manicured look, keep the nails on both hands the same length. With the “Dreieck” file you can keep your nails perfectly groomed – wherever you are!
TIP: After bathing, your nails are softer, so we recommend trimming your nails after bathing. This makes the process even easier and gentler on your nails.
